Hijab Islamic clothing

Hijab is a type of clothing that covers the whole body and mostly worn by Muslim women. Hijab comes from an Arabic word which literally means a curtain or a cover. It is referred to a type of clothing that women used to wear. The Quran has used this word to describe a dividing curtain that provides privacy to women. In a Muslim tradition, it is believed to wear to address the wives of the holy prophet. Muslim women are compelled to wear hijab to cover their body avoiding sexual attention from men.

Those days the mentality of the people was so typical that it has made a part of their tradition wearing burka and Kaftan. It is said to cover the head of the women with a scarf or any piece of cloth. There were some scholars who differ the amount of clothing fulfilling the needs of hijab. Some decided to cover the whole parts of the body that includes face, feet and hands.

And there were some who allowed women to uncover the face and hands and the rest covered. For young girls, the laws of wearing hijab were flexible in many regions. It is said to practice this kind of clothing from puberty onwards. Like any other clothing hijab also have their different styles. The differences usually come from differences in culture and region. In India and Pakistan, women wear two-piece veils that consist of head covering and a gown.

Burkas are mostly black in colour but now there also some other colors to taste women’s styles and taste. Niqaab is also one type that women wear in that region cloth that covers head and face and falls down to the bosom. Abaya is also another kind of hijab which is an outer garment that covers the women’s body from head to toe. This type of hijab is usually made of the black caftan. Like women Muslims men also cover their head with their head using turbans or scarf.
